Have you ever shared music on internet? Many people say it is illegal, because it is piracy. Other people say it is a common activity. The truth is that is has many advantages like sharing music with your friends, get music you can’t find in your country, and listening to a song before you buy it. So it is very useful and it is important to mention that it is not an illegal activity.
To share music on internet is useful because you can share music with your friends around the world. Sometimes you listen to a song on TV or in a movie and you like it, but when you search it in the music store you can’t find it. Then you can ask your friends around the world if someone has that song. Finally he sends you the song by internet. So you can share music with your friends and get music that in other way it would be impossible to get.
Sometimes when you listen to a song you like, you want to buy the full album. However, you can doubt about getting it because you have not listened to the rest of the songs. So you can ask your cyber friends if they have the album. Then someone can send you the full album to check if you like it before you buy it. So, if you did not like the rest of the songs, you could decide to buy only the song you liked. Then, if you do not want to waste your money, you can ask your friends to share music.
On the other hand, some people say it is illegal because it is piracy. But according to the law in article no. 151, it is not a violation of copyright if you don’t earn money with this activity. So when you share music on internet with your friends you do not look for money. Then we can realize that the real piracy is at some stores on the streets where the people earn money selling illegal CD copies. In addition, if we see the activity in a technical way, all the CDs are copies and pirated. The real art of music is in a live concert.
Sharing music on internet is a very useful activity because you can find almost any song you want to listen to. In addition you can listen to a CD before you buy it. Then it is very important to mention that it is not an illegal activity, as long as you share music with your friends in a private way. Despite of these facts, people still say it is not good for music companies, because you don’t allow them to get more incomes. On the other hand according to “elcliche.com”, Tommy Mottola, one of the presidents of Sony music Mexico, has more than 50,000 million of dollars. So do you think they need more money?

ResponderEliminarFirst, I liked your essay, it is interesting, but in my opinion I think that you can do it better, because in the second and third paragraph the ideas are similar, I think that you can add more ideas in order to write it more interesting. Dany is important that you add your references.
Take care with the contradictions; remember that in a formal essay you need to avoid them. I saw only one, “can´t”. In general your essay it ok, but I think that in the five paragraphs you are talking about the same, this means the same ideas and I think that you can look for more information and do it better, more interesting.
