1973 movie review

The Pain Of Silence
1973, the movie directed by Antonino Isordia about 3 real people, is a movie that reflects the lives of these people. Three different lives, but the pain is common between them. As Isordia says, “This is a film that invites people to not get wrong, to care their life”.

"What did I do wrong?"… Rodolfo is the first interviewed person who tells about his life experience with “porros”, he had a hard life and his dream to become a marine biologist just fades. Maria Fernanda, other person you can watch in this documental, is a deranged girl who wants to escape from her life by commit suicide. Finally, Alejandro is an insane character who is hard to understand why he wants to kill his family. The movie is strong, but you need to pay full attention because you may lose some important scenes. Most of the movie is filmed in black and white colors, so it adds drama to the movie, but it can tire you. The good thing about this movie is that there are 3 documentaries; I like that because of the different situations. I got bored with the first one because it is related with politic, but the other two situations were easier to understand for me. Once the movie was finishing, I got surprised to watch the end, because I tough I have already seen the end of the stories. So there was additional information, and I did not saw it coming.
I think this movie is totally different from other documentaries stories I have watched, so it is original, and hard to forget. Taking away some strong scenes, this movie is just great.
