Original MP3 players Vs Chinese MP3 players
Have you ever wanted to buy an MP3 player? Probably you have been in the situation that you want an MP3 player and you find different kinds of these devices. Suddenly, you see a Chinese device and it seems to be more attractive and cheaper than the other MP3 players. Nowadays you can find that Chinese devices have similar characteristics to famous trademarks like Sony, Apple, Creative, etc. So we are going to compare Chinese MP3 players to famous trademarks MP3 players. To make it clearer we will call these devices original ones.
The first aspect to compare is their physical components. Original MP3 players usually have a big screen with a wide angle of vision and it can be seen by 2 or 3 people. Their battery works from 14 to 52 hours in continuous music playing. In addition, one of the best things about these devices is their storage capacity because they can store from 1 Gigabyte to 160 Gigabytes, which means more than 40,000 songs. On the other hand, a Chinese MP3 player does not have great physical components. Its screen has not a wide angle of vision, and then it can only be seen by one person. Its battery is not the strong point because it only works for 6 hours as maximum. The worst thing about these devices is its storage not only because it only can save up to 16 Gigabytes but also because its memory is fragile and its data easily erase with temperature and voltage changes.
Talking about compatibility there are some differences between these devices. Original MP3 players can play only the most popular formats like MP3, avi-mpeg4, and jpg files. As you can see original devices only admit few file formats but they also come with a software that convert any format in order to be playable by the device. So they are very different to Chinese players because they can play many formats like MP3, MP4, GIF, JPG, MP4, WMA, WAV, etc. But it can be hard to play a different format file because these players do not come with software.
The last aspect to compare between these kinds of MP3 players is their connectivity. Original MP3 players can connect by USB 2.0 which allows fast data transfers. They also have wireless connection which is very useful when you forget the wire and you want to transfer data to other computers and devices. In addition, these devices work in all operative systems which are Windows, Linux, and Mac Os. On the other hand, Chinese MP3 players usually works with USB 1.0 which is makes that the file transfer be slow. In addition, only some of these devices have wireless connection and the data transfer takes double time than the original MP3 players. Finally the strong point about Chinese MP3 players is that they work with all operative systems.
As you can see there are important differences between these two devices as the duration of the battery that is better in an original player, but the compatibility is not. But I think it depends on the needs of the buyer, to choose the best MP3 player. Although Chinese MP3 players are cheaper than original ones, I prefer originals because I have tested both and original ones are easier for me and have longer life duration.

ResponderEliminarDany you wrote an interesting an good essay, I really like it because you are being clear and you have experienced this. Coherence and cohesion are good, I just want you to read some aspects that I found in your essay.
ResponderEliminarDanny in the third paragraph you have this “also come with a software that convert any format“ just remember to add the “S” to the verb because you are using third person.
In the fourth paragraph you have “which is makes that the file transfer be slow” remember that you cannot mix the verb to be an the main verb, so remove “is”
When you are talking about the Chinese MP3 players you wrote this “In addition, only some of these devices have” I recommend you to change “some” and use “few” instead. Why few? Because if you use “some“ you are referring to a lot of them, and what you are trying to mean is that not so many MP3 players have wireless connection.
In the conclusion of the essay I just recommend you that you write all the characteristics of the MP3 players (physical components, compatibility and connectivity) because you are only mentioning the physical components and compatibility, but why did not you mention the connectivity?
That would be all, keep working like that ;)
